The year is 200X, an era where humans and robots coexist. One day, Dr. Light, the leading authority on industrial robot production, receives word that the robots he developed have begun to run amok one after another. Dr. Light realizes this is the work of Dr. Wily, an evil genius scientist plotting world conquest, but the situation unfolded so suddenly that he is at a loss for what to do. At that moment, Rock, a domestic assistant robot created by Dr. Light, requests to be remodeled into a combat type.
