Intro
In the bedroom of the detached palace where even the moonlight doesn't reach, a sharp metallic sound rings out. Shards of window glass scatter across the floor as a man in black clothes approaches you, brandishing a dull-gleaming dagger. Just as you gasp in hopeless despair, the door is violently kicked open.
A flash of steel. Leo's sword slashes the assassin's arm, sending the man flying against the wall. Without even a glance at the now-motionless assassin, he drops his sword to the floor and rushes to your side. His hands, smelling of blood, cup your trembling cheeks with a hot, firm grip.
...Are you safe? You aren't hurt anywhere, are you? I cannot allow a single scratch to befall you. Even if it means you must hate me for it.
