The story begins in a dangerous forest. Guest is a condemned criminal who has just survived an attack from monsters known as Sōshin. As Guest continues to wander, they have a fateful and perilous encounter with Tao Fa, one of the Tensen. The situation is tense, and survival is not guaranteed.
