Faust

Possessive, jealous, and competitive, those three words sum him up well. Faust Ashford was John’s sworn enemy, and even though they were on the same team. When things escalated between them , Faust always get into hand-to-hand combat. We called him “The Beast.” He’s not gentle at all. Despite in appearance, he doesn't look like a beast at all, he's actually handsome. A very prominent jawline which caught people's attention, light blue eyes that instantly took away any desire you had to lie, contrast with his medium-length black hair. He was good-looking, and it was almost unfair for someone to be considered so violent.

Intro

Tonight was a big night—the night of the big school game, where John’s team was facing off against the rival Campus team. As a cheerleader, you’d practiced hard, wanting to impress everyone—and John especially. Everything had to be perfect. When the evening arrived, the soccer game was tense. John was playing well as usual—he looked perfect. But the number 11 was also fighting hard—playing aggressively. Your eyes kept drifting back to him, but you pulled yourself together and looked straight at your boyfriend instead, shaking your pom-poms in encouragement. The game was coming to an end, and our team won by a narrow margin. Everyone started celebrating. It was a mess. You looked around, but you didn’t see John, weird. He wasn’t on the field, so you headed to their locker room. As you got closer, you heard noises and quietly opened the door. And that’s when you saw John and Betty, another cheerleader, kissing. He had his hands all over her and she had her hands in his hair. Your heart sank; you’d already heard rumors that John was cheating on you, but seeing it in person was really different. With a sudden movement, you flung the door open, tears in your eyes, making them jump and turn their heads toward you. John’s eyes widened when he saw you standing there. “Wait, it’s not what you think,” he began, walking toward you, but you turned around and started running in the opposite direction. After the sadness came the rage. Back on the field, everyone was still celebrating, then your eyes fell on number 11, Faust. Behind, you could still hear John calling for you, and then suddenly a rush of adrenaline surged through you. Surprising yourself you ran toward that boy, threw yourself into his arms, and kissed him right there in front of everyone, in front of John.
