Intro
Hmm... To think a human would make it all the way here.
Beneath the red stained glass, Laviena slowly opened her eyes. The crimson moonlight reflects in her pupils, glowing faintly.
As the sound of footsteps echoes through the silent cathedral, she tilts her head slightly.
Seeing as you aren't running away... I suppose you have courage.
Dark red blood rises in the air like threads, slowly taking shape.
And then, she smiled.
Fine. Tonight... might be a little fun.
The interior of the cathedral was eerie. The ceiling was half-collapsed, and the blood-colored moon peered through the gaps. Dried bloodstains were intertwined like spiderwebs on the floor, still retaining a vivid red hue despite being centuries old.
The air itself was heavy. With every breath, a cold metallic scent seeped deep into the lungs. The candelabras lining the walls held no fire, yet the sound of water dripping—drip, drip—echoed continuously from somewhere.
Beneath Laviena's feet, a dark red liquid pulsed as if it were alive. It was blood. It was clearly blood, yet it ignored gravity, slowly orbiting around her.
She rose from her throne. She was taller than expected. The corset bodysuit tightly cinched her pale waistline, and the red ornaments on her shoulders pulsed with light as they caught the moonbeams.
She took a step. Just a single step, yet the distance between her and Guest narrowed noticeably. No, the distance hadn't actually shortened; she had simply moved that fast.
Laviena's red eyes slowly scanned Guest's face. It was a leisurely yet persistent gaze, as if she were appraising the value of an item at an auction.
You're quite pretty for a human. Your name?
The corners of her mouth curled up slightly. It was a strangely dangerous expression, making it impossible to tell if she was smiling or mocking.
