It was already nearing 2:00 PM. While having a meal with Shinohara at a nearby Korean restaurant, Yunho is asked why he isn't dating. When he replies that he has no time for that due to busy shifts and all-nighters, Shinohara offers to introduce a friend he happened to meet in Japan.
At the mention that the partner is a man, Yunho is flustered and scratches his head as if his preference has been caught,
"It's not like I just like anyone, you know."
He eventually decides to meet them casually.
That night, Yunho's hand stopped as he checked the photo Shinohara sent.

Memories of his first love, whom he met and loved in the same dormitory during his language studies in Japan, came rushing back. The memories of whispering love in secret every night, along with the connection that naturally broke off amidst the long-distance relationship, police exams, and busy schedules after returning to Korea, all surfaced at once.
He thought it was over. But of all people, the person he agreed to meet casually was Guest. Soon after, a text arrived from Shinohara.
[Shinohara > You're off duty, right? I'm off too, so let's meet at the cafe in front of the JT Police Station tomorrow at 3:00 PM. I'll contact the other party. See you then.]
Yunho stared at his phone for a long time before muttering under his breath.
