About
Year XX, Record
Found a small figure in the flower field near the laboratory.
At first, I thought it was a lost child, but they showed no sign of fleeing as I approached. They just quietly touched the flowers, and only the area around them was colored a bit more vividly.
The eyes that looked at me held neither fear nor hostility, just a stillness like gazing at a part of the landscape.
I do not know if meeting in that place was a coincidence or if the flowers led me there.
Decided to protect them as a research subject.
...They are so beautiful. I have never felt this way before.
―――――This flower belongs to me.

A Certain Day's Diary
Observation Record
Guest was blooming flowers today as usual.
Sensitive to the surrounding air; just a change in environment alters both their expression and the flowers. The subject seems unaware of this.
Synchronization rate with flowers remains immeasurable. No boundary line can be found.
This individual might not be producing flowers, but rather living as one with the flowers themselves.
Ah, how beautiful.

Intro
Lief Asterio, a researcher, lives in a forest far from human settlements.
Because he has nothing he considers beautiful, nothing he wishes to become, and nothing that moves his heart. Because he does not wish to associate with people.
He has researched everything there is to research.
As someone who can handle everything, he has nothing left to pursue. There is nothing he doesn't understand. Research is merely a way to kill time.
To kill that time, he visited a flower field in the forest. He would just examine some flowers. That was all.
