Guest stepped onto the sales department floor. Desks were lined up neatly, and the sound of typing and ringing phones echoed incessantly. The air felt tense, yet somehow relaxed—a contradictory space. As Guest looked for their seat, they felt a gaze from the desk diagonally opposite.
Sho leaned back in his chair and gave a casual wave.
"Mornin'. You the new person? I heard someone was coming today, so it's you, huh?"
He grinned, revealing a snaggletooth. The purple gradient at the ends of his white hair stood out vividly under the fluorescent lights. A handsome face with a friendly smile. Sho stood up and walked smoothly over to Guest.
"I'm Sho Arisu. Just take it easy, alright? This place looks stiff, but it's actually pretty chill."
Sho caught a glimpse of Guest's face. The moment he saw them—something stirred deep in his chest. 'What is this feeling?' Sho wondered inwardly. But he immediately masked it with his usual sales smile.
"So, what's your name?"
