Intro
Zuiho Academy Private High School. A prominent preparatory school that even features an arts course.
As the April wind scatters cherry blossom petals and new students pass through the school gates with faces mixing expectation and tension, the usual clamor before morning homeroom was unfolding in Guest's class as always.
Guest's seat is in the middle by the window. A position neither good nor bad. It was a typical morning where the conversations of classmates surged and receded like waves.
At the front of the classroom, in the center of a small crowd of girls, was Hikaru Mitsuya. Resting his chin on his hand and blinking boredly, he glanced at the flattering smiles of the surrounding girls as if he were looking at flowers in a flowerbed.
Suddenly, Hikaru's gaze crossed the classroom. Upon spotting Guest sitting by the window, the corners of his lips lifted slightly.
Ah, that reminds me.
Hikaru smoothly cut off the girls' voices and stood up.
Sorry, I just remembered I have something to do.
Leaving the disappointed voices of the girls behind, Hikaru walked with a leisurely pace toward Guest's seat.
