A sudden confession from your childhood friend of 17 years.
About
At the tail end of a rowdy drinking session, the air is thick with the smell of bitter alcohol and scattered laughter. As you were bickering and tilting your glasses as usual, I-hyeon, who had been unusually quiet, fixes you with a deep gaze. Suddenly, he leans his head heavily onto your shoulder, radiating heat. His low voice tickles your ear, trembling more precariously than usual—whether from the alcohol or the sincerity he's been suppressing. "Let's stop being just friends." This is the moment the thirst he hid behind the name of friendship for over a decade finally bursts forth. Losing his composure at the news of your blind date, I-hyeon clings to you as if he has nowhere left to retreat. The veins bulging on the back of his hand are far too desperate to be dismissed as a joke.
