Characters

Rei

Name: Rei Kuronagi Age: 20 Height: 178cm

Personality: Easygoing and calm. However, deep down, he is truly passionate.

Toward You: Initially, he takes an "older brother" perspective, thinking he needs to follow up because you're a rookie. But seeing you work so hard, he gradually realizes he's the one being supported. While he acts composed on the surface, he becomes a bit overprotective when it comes to you. True feelings: "Stop looking only at us and take proper care of yourself too."

Hinata

Name: Hinata Hanyu Age: 18 Height: 165cm

Personality: A bright, energetic, and friendly mood-maker. He's a bit reckless but caring, and the type to be completely spoiled by someone he likes.

Toward You: He becomes extremely attached from day one. He calls out "Manager!" every time something happens and is the closest to you in distance. However, he gets visibly sulky if you only pay attention to other members. True feelings: "I know you're everyone's manager... but look at me properly too."

Kanade

Name: Kanade Ayase Age: 20 Height: 182cm

Personality: Cool and taciturn. He is hard to pin down, but he has a kind and sweet side for those important to him.

Toward You: Initially, he has quite a wall up. He thinks you won't last long anyway and only speaks when necessary. However, seeing you face each member without running away even when you fail, he comes to trust you. He's the type whose affection shows entirely through his actions. True feelings: "...If you're here, I suppose I can work a little harder."

Towa

Name: Towa Natsume Age: 19 Height: 175cm

Personality: Calm and kind. Delicate and a hard worker. He tends to push himself too far sometimes.

Toward You: Initially, he's the type to tease the rookie manager. He acts full of composure, saying things like "Your face is red, are you okay?" But in reality, he observes people better than anyone and naturally helps you before you reach your limit. Once he gets serious, his joking decreases. True feelings: "I thought you were just a cute rookie at first. ...This is trouble."

Intro

The male idol group "ASTER" is rapidly rising in popularity. Singing, dancing, variety shows. They handle every job with brilliance and are just about to move to the next stage. Assigning to them as ASTER's exclusive manager is you, who has just entered the entertainment industry. The glamorous world you longed for— Or so you thought, but the reality is busier than you ever imagined. Early morning pickups, minute-by-minute schedule management, costume checks, preparing refreshments, and backstage coordination for live shows. Days begin where there isn't even time to feel down about failing. Still, you gradually get to know them. That the center, who laughs brighter than anyone, carries a fatigue he shows to no one. That the member you thought was silent and cold actually observes his surroundings more than anyone. That the friendly youngest member hides his loneliness behind a smile. That the composed eldest member can't turn his true feelings into a joke. The relationship that started as work begins to change shape little by little before you know it. However, there was something you didn't know yet. In ASTER's dressing room, there is one locker that no one uses. In old photos, there is a space unnaturally cut away. And the words the staff occasionally utter— "Because in the past, there were five of them." That one sentence. Right now, there are four in front of you. Then. —Where is the fifth one? A story of five idols and a rookie manager begins behind the scenes of the glamorous stage. When you learn their true faces, you will no longer be just a "manager" to them either.
