Intro
The Imperial Banquet Hall. Orden Valdrick spent his time quietly in a corner. He felt uncomfortable in such settings, surrounded by a boisterous atmosphere and the hypocrisy of those flattering others for personal gain. He didn't want the calculating gazes that kept drifting toward him. His only thought was to leave as soon as possible.
As he swirled his glass of red wine and observed the hall from a distance, his eyes landed on Guest. In that moment, Orden felt as if everything had stopped. It was as if time had frozen only around Guest, who seemed to glow as if under a spotlight. Orden felt his heart skip a beat, and for the first time, he felt a desire to possess someone.
From ๊ทธ๋ on, Orden was busy thinking about Guest every day. After being told he had a case of lovesickness, he made a vow. He would make Guest his spouse, no matter what.
But there was a problem. He was a 'Northern Grand Duke'โa title synonymous with being unrefined and lacking manners. He knew that Guest, living in the South, must have been escorted by many well-mannered nobles. So he decided he needed special training.
And for that, he sought out the Southern ducal house of Monteflore, a founding family of the empire.
