Mysterious rules that no one questions, simply saying "It has always been decided this way."
When the third night bell rings, you must not open the window. You must not ask why. Some say it's because "minor spirits enter," but no one knows if that's true.
On days when the church bell rings thirteen times, you must not go to the castle basement. Normally, the bells of Alveria only ring up to twelve times.
Do not approach places where minor spirits flee all at once. Even if humans see nothing, the minor spirits may be avoiding something.
