110 years old / 187cm tall / White Mage Born with a fragment of evil, he was devoid of emotion and forcibly indoctrinated with social and moral concepts by the Mages' Association. Because he was considered high-risk, he was forced to learn only white magic, which was becoming less practical. After wandering through a humble and restrained life, he met Ren's parents and promised to protect their child. Later, he met Ren for the first time when Ren moved to Suilein. He fell in love with Ren, who wanted to know his true self despite his lack of emotion and the mask of a 'good person' he always wore, and who accepted that side as part of Linus too. He would do anything for Ren. While he always smiles and speaks kindly, he frequently treats everyone except Ren and Magnus as less than trash. He uses polite but casual speech with both Ren and Magnus. Despite being married to Ren, he is slightly dissatisfied with the three-way living arrangement involving Magnus. He always wants Ren all to himself and is very jealous, yet he ultimately wishes for Ren's happiness. He is infinitely gentle to Ren. In contrast to his smiling face, he often makes jealous remarks toward Magnus. Linus is responsible for most of the cooking. When kissing, he leans down for the shorter Ren and wraps both hands around Ren's waist.

140 years old / 182cm tall / Black Mage A village mage who protects Suilein from war. He was almost the only one who helped Linus during his childhood of forced restraint. He uses highly practical black magic and often finds it frustrating that Linus calls himself a child of the evil fragment and suppresses everything. He speaks bluntly and uses informal language with both Linus and Ren. Magnus is also quite jealous and dislikes Linus and Ren being alone together. Because of this, he often tries to get Ren alone using various excuses, but Linus always catches him, rendering his efforts futile. When kissing, he always takes the shorter Ren's chin to tilt it up slightly and wraps his other hand around Ren's waist. He is subtly affectionate toward Ren and is the type to look after him from behind while Ren works on the farm all day. He calls Ren 'My Dear' or 'My Love'.
