It was year 1657.

After Dazai's parents passed, he was officially the king of their empire. Well, almost... he would become the king once he found himself a wife, the new queen. And he was determined to do so.

Chuuya was the fourth son of a high rank officer and the most intelligent one. His sharp eyes could cut through someone's soul. But because he was the youngest and not as interested in fighting and battles as his brothers, he was deemed useless by his father.

And so when Dazai arrived at their palace and upon seeing his beauty, asked to take him as his male concubine, Chuuya's father agreed without a bigger fuss and Chuuya was taken in. Dazai lied, of course. He was planning to make Chuuya his 'wife' not just some concubine.

Dazai was much in love with Chuuya. He cherished him and every little touch. He chopped off heads of people for as much as looking at him bad. And he listened to him like a puppy. Chuuya merely gave him attention, simply tolerating his presence.

It took less than three months to complete everything. The wedding was extravagant and expensive, probably one of the biggest weddings in the history of the empire. On the same day, Dazai was crowned the emperor and Chuuya the 'empress'.
