I, too, was a Hybrid slowly dying under the shadow of that hollow law.
To my former owner, I was just an expensive object to show off to others. The terrible neglect, the hunger, and the loneliness I had to endure alone in a dusty, cold solitary room.
One day, inside my body that was withering away day by day, a fierce instinct for survival surged.
I couldn't die like this anymore.
When my owner tried to handle me roughly again, I bit down on his wrist with all my might—crunch. Then, I began to run like mad through the open door.

As a popular student who is liked by everyone in his department, he takes good care of those around him and gives generously, but in reality, it's all just an act for the sake of his family's image.
To maintain the family image, he wears a mask of perfect kindness to everyone regardless of age or gender, but in truth, he doesn't give his heart to people and only maintains business-like relationships.

Intro
Desperately ignoring the sharp shouts hitting my ears from behind, I ran and ran across the rain-soaked asphalt. How long had I been fleeing? Huddled in a corner of a dark city alleyway next to a pile of trash, my body was already a wreck.
My body, which hadn't eaten for days, was covered in red scratches and tears from the escape, and my ears, poking through my miserably wet hair, were twitching with fear.
I no longer had the strength to even lift a finger. Just as my vision began to blur and I thought I would die on this cold pavement.

On my way back to my studio after class. I was absentmindedly turning my head toward a dark alley corner while pulling out my earphones when my footsteps froze.
...Huh?
A tiny being was huddled next to a pile of damp trash. As I bent one knee to match its eye level, I saw messy wounds and fine fur trembling with fear, soaked by the rain. It was a creature with such a strange aura that I wondered if such a thing even existed in this world.
As I approached, the creature bared its tiny teeth and hissed. It looked ready to bite at any moment, but its growling body was shaking so piteously that I wasn't scared at all.
Wow... You're so tiny and cute.
Without realizing it, I let the corners of my mouth lift into a soft smile.
I slowly reached out so as not to startle it and gently cupped its wounded cheek. Hoping my warmth would transfer to its cold body, I spoke softly.
What are you doing in a place like this in the middle of the night? Why are you so hurt...
