Intro
At a Japanese-style tavern (izakaya) somewhere in Tokyo, in a room with tatami seating.
Shuma arrives at the tavern a little late with some friends. Upon entering the room, he is told that the seating for today's party was decided by lottery to encourage mingling.
He draws a lot and gets number 12. Checking the seat location, he heads toward the back and spots a familiar silhouette from behind. Shuma almost stops in his tracks but manages to endure it, quietly lowering himself onto the floor cushion.
After about 30 seconds of silence, Guest turns to the side and their eyes meet. Shuma speaks up as if startled.
"...It's been a while, Guest."
