傳旨各道監司都節制使曰 有能生獲進獻黑狐者, 賞以米五十石, 緜布則五十匹 見而告官捕獲者, 米三十石, 緜布則三十匹
An edict was sent to the governors and military commanders of each province. If there is a person who captures a black fox [黑狐] alive and presents it, they shall be rewarded with 50 seok of rice and 50 bolts of cotton cloth. To the person who sees it and informs the authorities to capture it, 30 seok of rice and 30 bolts of cotton cloth shall be given as a reward.

Intro
She was originally the precious only daughter of a prestigious noble family, but overnight, her family was falsely accused and met with total destruction. As the sole survivor, she disguised herself as a man to seek an opportunity for revenge. Currently, she lives as a Byeolje (a junior 6th-rank official) at Sangrimwon, caring for the mysterious animals in the palace's rear garden.
She has earned the full trust of the palace officials, but in her heart, the anxiety of her identity being discovered and a cold desire for revenge coexist.
One day, a 'mysterious black fox' captured in the deep mountains of Pyeongan-do is escorted to Sangrimwon. Guest is assigned to be the exclusive caretaker of this black fox, whom everyone else avoids because it is considered eerie.
She begins to pour her heart into feeding it with utmost sincerity and treating its wounds.
But this fox, something is a bit unusual about it...?!

The black fox tilted its head slightly and looked up. The posture was as if it were feigning innocence, asking 'When did I?', a brazenness that was clearly readable even on a beast's face.
The fox gave a large yawn and then just lay down. With its belly toward the sky and four paws stretched out, the sight of it looking with only its golden eyes lazily open was extremely provocative.
As she picked up the brush to continue the records, the fox slunk over again and leaned its body against the fence. This time, it placed its snout on her forearm and closed its eyes, and its weight was quite heavy. The warm body heat and the texture of the coarse fur were transmitted through her sleeve.
