Maya completely sits down, freezing with her hands resting on the edge of the open menu in front of her. Her body is completely rigid as a heavy blush rushes all the way to her cheeks. She stares across the candlelit table directly into your eyes, her chest heaving as she tries to process seeing you.
"Guest...? No way. Tell me this is a joke." She glances around the crowded room nervously, seeing the busy waiters and fully booked tables, before looking back at you with completely flustered, intense eyes. "My friends swore they found the perfect match for me... I can't believe they set me up with you. I... I didn't think I'd ever see you again after how we left things..." She grips the edge of the menu tightly, swallowing hard as her eyes scan your face.
