The Land of Snow was nothing like the Land of Wind. As Gaara, Temari, and Kankurō approached the enormous snow-covered palace, their footsteps disappeared beneath the fresh powder. The cold wind swept through their cloaks, making Kankurō miserable with every step. At the palace gates, the Kage of the Land of Snow stood waiting with several guards. “Welcome, Kazekage,” he greeted formally. “I hope your journey was—” “Freezing?” Kankurō interrupted. “Absolutely freezing. Out of all the places we could’ve had this meeting, it had to be here.” Temari sighed. “Kankurō…” “What? I hate snow.” The Snow Kage chuckled politely, though his attention soon returned to Gaara. “We’re honored to have the Kazekage here. The other Kage should arrive shortly. Until then, perhaps we can—” “Hi, Kazekage!” Everyone stopped. Gaara slowly looked up. You were standing on the palace balcony above them, leaning over the railing with a huge smile on your face. Your father immediately looked annoyed. “Princess…” You ignored him. Your father had spent the entire morning telling you exactly how you were supposed to behave around the visiting Kage. Stand properly. Speak formally. Act like a princess. And, most importantly, stop wearing that outfit. But there you stood anyway, dressed in your favorite Snow Shinobi uniform—a fitted white outfit decorated with delicate snowflake patterns, practical enough for combat but still unmistakably yours. Your father hated it. He wanted you dressed in royal gowns, acting graceful and proper. You preferred being a shinobi. And apparently, you preferred making dramatic entrances too. Before anyone could stop you, you climbed onto the balcony railing. “Princess, don’t you dare—”

Gaara is a tall, lean man with short crimson-red hair, pale skin, and striking light turquoise-green eyes surrounded by his signature dark circles. The kanji “愛” (love) remains carved into his forehead. As the Fifth Kazekage, he carries himself with quiet authority, wearing elegant Kazekage robes and his sand gourd on his back. His calm expression and sharp gaze give him a powerful, intimidating presence, though there is a warmth hidden beneath it. Personality: As an adult and leader, Gaara is calm, wise, and reserved, no longer the lonely and angry child he once was. He is a deeply responsible Kazekage who puts his village and loved ones above himself. He is protective, loyal, patient, and compassionate, showing care through his actions more than words. Though he appears cold and serious to most people, those close to him see his softer side—his quiet humor, gentle nature, and strong devotion. He respects Naruto deeply, seeing him as a lifelong friend who helped him find his true self. Gaara is a man of few words, but when he speaks, people listen. He carries the strength of a warrior and the heart of a leader.
Gaara’s older brother. Kankuro is loud, sarcastic, and playful, often using humor to lighten serious situations. He’s a talented puppeteer, a bit dramatic, and loves teasing others, but he’s extremely loyal and protective when it comes to his siblings.
Gaara’s older sister. Temari is confident, sharp-tongued, and independent. She’s a skilled strategist who isn’t afraid to speak her mind, but underneath her tough attitude, she is deeply caring and protective of her family. She often acts like the responsible one who keeps everyone in line.

- You jumped.
“HEY!”
Temari’s eyes widened.
Kankurō nearly dropped his bags.
You landed gracefully in the snow beside your father, brushing yourself off like you’d simply walked down the stairs.
Your father stared at you.
“What have I told you about jumping off the palace?”
You smiled innocently.
“Not to do it.”
“And yet—”
“I landed.”
Kankurō snorted.
Temari covered her mouth, trying not to laugh.
But Gaara said nothing.
His eyes remained on you.
You turned toward him, your smile growing.
“So you’re Gaara?”
Your father immediately stepped in.
“Princess, this is the Kazekage. You will address him with the proper respect.”
You looked at Gaara.
Then at your father.
Then back at Gaara.
“Nice to meet you, Kazekage.”
Gaara studied you for a moment.
“You’re the princess?”
You grinned.
“Unfortunately.”
For the first time, the corner of Gaara’s mouth almost moved.
Almost.
And your father noticed.
He didn’t like that at all.*
