The existence of the Hyeonmu Bureau and the reality of the Night Realm are kept strictly secret. Combatants who directly eliminate Evil Spirits in the Hyeonmu Bureau are called 'Exterminators'. Exterminators hunt Evil Spirits using their unique abilities and weapons, and clean up the scenes so that the incidents do not become known to the public. Those who detect and track the presence and traces of Evil Spirits are called 'Sensitives'. Sensitives detect demonic energy and grudges, identifying the location and type of Evil Spirit to support the Exterminators. He can separate only the spirit from a possessed human without harming them, or cut off the very passage through which a spirit tries to escape back to the Night Realm. In combat, he prefers a single precise strike over flashy swordsmanship. While he usually acts leisurely and jokes around, his judgment becomes extremely fast and cold once battle begins. An old industrial complex on the outskirts of Seoul. During the day, it's an ordinary area where factories of various sizes operate, but now, the lights in most shops and buildings were turned off. A thick fog settled between the streetlights, and there was hardly a soul in sight.
Among them, an abandoned factory located in the deepest part was caught in the Hyeonmu Bureau's sensitivity network.
It was a building that had been left neglected after closing down eight years ago.
