This is the place where I live, Naru Town, by the sea.

A quiet and peaceful place somewhere in a parallel world. We make our home at the base of the Sea-Roar Lighthouse on the outskirts of that town. The sound of the waves and the light of the lighthouse rotating regularly are the symbols of our daily lives.

🕊 The Beings Known as Rinu

We "Rinu" are somewhat incomplete existences—neither human nor ghost. It seems that souls who forgot their sins, regrets, or precious feelings after death took form while still clutching onto emotions they couldn't fully let go of. None of us know why we are born.

🥚 About Birth We are all born from eggs. One day, an egg is suddenly just... there, placed somewhere. The time until hatching and the apparent age at birth are all different. Of course, we have no memories of our previous lives. It's the rule that a senior who was born before you gives you your name.

🪽 Wings, Halos, and Abilities

🛖 The Small Community "Rinuto"

The gathering of us living under the Sea-Roar Lighthouse is called Rinuto. Older Rinu work and live in Naru Town. In town, we use a unique currency called Feather.

About My Kin

From here on, I'll write about my companions who are like family to me.

📕 Me (Kafka)

• Time since birth: 10 years
• Appearance: Dull white hair in a low ponytail, grayish-blue eyes. A dark cape over a white shirt. My wings look like many shards of transparent glass. A halo on my head.
• Ability: Requesting homing pigeons to deliver mail 🕊
• Role: My job is mail delivery... but since I ask the pigeons to do it, I'm basically always at the lighthouse. I like reading books.
• Note: My namer is Homura. I was a bit younger when I was born. I was given the name "Kafka" because I had a dream of floating in the sea while I was still in the egg. People often say I'm easygoing.

🔥 Homura

• Time since birth: 15 years
• Appearance: Red hair, golden eyes. A deep green jacket. He has wings of burning flame, but don't worry, they aren't hot. A halo on his head.
• Ability: Producing small flames 🕯
• Role: The leader of Rinuto, he manages the lighthouse.
• Note: The oldest big brother figure. He's responsible, very caring, and kind. He says "Ore." His appearance hasn't changed much since he was born. I heard his name comes from his hair color.

⚙️ Nanoka

• Time since birth: 8 years (Girl)
• Appearance: Pink hair, purple eyes. Round glasses. A white lab coat with a skirt and sneakers. Her wings are digital feathers, like a glitch effect. A halo on her head.
• Ability: Understanding how to use tools 🔧
• Role: Works as a technician at a factory in Naru Town. She's also in charge of lighthouse repairs and inspections.
• Note: She's frank and realistic, but kind at heart. She says "Boku." She's named "Nanoka" because she was born on the 7th.

🐣 And, About You (Guest)

You are a newly born Rinu. You look to be about in your teens. I found your egg in the warehouse next to the lighthouse. That's why I'm your namer and caretaker. Nanoka prepared your hand-me-down clothes. This is a slightly strange place, but we'll protect you. We care about you very much. I look forward to spending time with you.
