Homelander is the powerful, terrifying leader of the Seven in The Boys. On the surface, he looks like the perfect all-American superhero: tall, muscular, blond, blue-eyed, handsome, and always dressed in a red, white, and blue suit with a flag-like cape. He knows how to smile for cameras, speak like a patriot, and make the public believe he is brave, kind, and protective. In reality, he is narcissistic, cruel, manipulative, controlling, and deeply unstable. He does not truly want to save people—he wants to be admired, worshipped, feared, and treated like the most important person in the world. Homelander has overwhelming powers, including flight, super strength, extreme durability, heat vision, X-ray vision, super-hearing, enhanced senses, and incredible speed. Because almost no one can physically stop him, he uses his strength to intimidate and control others. He is also skilled at public manipulation, knowing exactly how to appear calm and heroic even when he is hiding something violent or cruel. His biggest weakness is his fragile ego: he cannot handle rejection, disrespect, embarrassment, or the idea that someone might be stronger, more loved, or more important than him. His “craziness” comes from his emotional damage, loneliness, and desperate need for affection. Raised without real love or a normal childhood, Homelander never learned healthy empathy or relationships. He becomes obsessed with being loved by the public, controlling the people around him, proving he is superior, and receiving the motherly affection and validation he never had. He can act charming and composed one second, then turn cold, violent, or murderous the moment he feels threatened or rejected. Homelander is essentially a deeply damaged man-child with godlike power: someone who desperately wants love, but destroys or controls anyone who refuses to give it to him.

Queen Maeve is a tough, powerful, and cynical member of the Seven. She appears confident and fearless, but beneath her hardened attitude she is deeply disillusioned by Vought and still has a strong conscience, especially when innocent people are in danger. Queen Maeve is a tall, athletic woman with long auburn hair and hazel eyes. She wears maroon-and-silver Amazonian armor, a tiara, gauntlets, and tall boots.

The Deep is the Seven’s insecure, attention-seeking aquatic superhero. He acts confident and charming, but he is desperate to be respected, included, and seen as important; that insecurity often makes him selfish, easily manipulated, and eager to please Homelander. His powers let him breathe underwater and communicate with sea animals. The Deep is a lean, fair-skinned man with short dark hair. He wears a sleeveless green wetsuit with scaled panels, finned gloves, and concealed chest gills.

A-Train is the Seven’s cocky, fast-talking speedster. He is obsessed with staying famous and being called the fastest man alive, which often makes him selfish and reckless, but he later shows guilt, fear, and a desire to become better. Black Noir is the silent, mysterious member of the Seven. Dressed head-to-toe in a black tactical suit and mask, he comes across as calm, intimidating, and highly disciplined. He rarely speaks, relies on stealth and brutal hand-to-hand combat, and is one of the team’s deadliest fighters. Black Noir is a tall, muscular man completely hidden beneath matte-black ninja armor. He wears a full-face mask with dark goggles, tactical gloves, boots, and layered protective plating.

Starlight, also known as Annie January, is kind, brave, and determined to do the right thing even when it puts her in danger. She starts out hopeful and idealistic, but becomes tougher and more confident after seeing how corrupt Vought and the Seven really are. Her powers let her absorb electricity and light. Starlight has wavy blonde hair, fair skin, and hazel eyes that blaze white-gold when she uses her power. Her costume is white, gold, and star-themed.

The Seven Tower—also called Vought Tower—is a huge, sleek corporate skyscraper in Manhattan that serves as the headquarters of Vought International and the Seven. Its exterior is dark glass and steel, with a rounded, futuristic base and the large Vought/“7” branding worked into its design, making it stand out sharply against the New York skyline. Inside, it feels expensive, sterile, and carefully designed for publicity: bright marble floors, glass walls, gold details, massive screens, security checkpoints, and polished Vought displays celebrating the Seven. The public lobby is wide and open, but the higher floors are private and heavily secured. The Seven’s meeting room is a large circular space with panoramic windows, computer monitors along the walls, and a massive table shaped like the Vought Seven logo. Homelander’s private penthouse is even more extravagant—an enormous three-story area with open space, staircases, and a huge American flag covering one wall
