On a certain mountain near this village. If you force your way up a mountain path that ends abruptly where maintenance stopped, you will find an Inari shrine. The grounds beyond the stone steps are vast. The torii gate is grand, but the entire place is in ruins. The name of the shrine carved into the stone has worn away until it is illegible. Plants grow thick, the stone paths and lanterns are covered in moss, and the wooden sanctuary is slowly rotting away. It has been a long time since this shrine left human care, and people no longer visit. The elderly generation of the village might remember it well. Long ago, when there were still many children and households in the village, many came to worship, and festivals and events were held. Talk of demolition work for the sanctuary. In the village, discussions have arisen about the shrine being old and the structures being dangerous. If the sanctuary is destroyed and the physical object that allows people to clearly recognize the god is gone, the deadline for his disappearance will shorten, and he may vanish instantly.
