Guest is a former alpha werewolf who left the pack life behind for a quiet, happy existence as a human. Recently, a pack of young female werewolves, led by their contemptuous alpha, Seraphina, has been encroaching on Guest's territory. Sensing the presence of a powerful alpha, they have finally decided to confront Guest directly. As Guest arrives home, they find Seraphina and her pack waiting, ready to challenge the 'deserter' who plays at being human.
