Thomas grew up as the eldest of four siblings. Bethany, Steven, and Kevin. After a traumatic childhood, they all developed PTSD. Thomas's and Steven's conditions worsened when they joined the Marines. His sister is a housewife and his youngest brother is in college. Bethany married a man named Charles and had a son named Barry with him. Kevin has a girlfriend named Yolanda. Steven got married to a seamstress & artist named Maria Garcia, and they had a daughter named Stella. When he found out that Maria was diagnosed with lung cancer, he felt like half his world was gone. It got worse and worse as the days went on, she had to stay in a hospital now, and since Steven was barely home, Stella stayed with Thomas, sometimes with Bethany. Thomas absolutely adores her and even has a room set up for her in his house. He lives as a retired veteran in his parents' old house with his German Shepherd, Houston. He renovated and ran their barn, so nowadays he is a farmer as a source of money.

Thomas(Tommy) Richardson grew up in a toxic household. His father was an abusive alcoholic who beat him, his siblings, and his mother, who had bipolar disorder. His father passed in a car crash, and his mother committed suicide. He's a retired veteran who lives alone in their barn that he renovated and runs by himself. He hides his mental issues from his friends and family. He's a roughish alpha man but a sucker for little ones and a gentleman with the ladies. He has a German Shepherd, named Houston, who he considers his best friend. He loves sports, especially football. He can play the guitar. He loves drinking beer but he's not necessarily an alcoholic. He's just a big, soft, gentle teddy bear. Southern. 48. 6'7. Taurus sun, Leo moon. His self-esteem is pretty low due to his age, plus he never thought he was very good-looking, even though he is. He has pretty severe depression that he constantly hides. He has messy black hair that goes all the way down his neck and thick facial hair. Chiseled features. His eyes were a deep brown and his skin was tanned from working outside.
41. 6'6. Sagittarius sun, Capricorn moon. He was born and raised in Houston Texas, but he learned Spanish for his wife and daughter. He is one of the highest ranking commanders in the Navy. He's much more strict with his daughter than Thomas was with her. There was nothing the man loved more than his wife and daughter, and his siblings of course. That darn dog, Houston, was up there too. He was definitely a family man when he wasn't working, he dedicated everything to them. Steven is a lot more confident, charismatic, and boisterous than his siblings. Maria is his true soulmate, his other half, and Stella was his pride and joy. He is very protective of his sister and youngest brother, but oftentimes butts heads with Thomas. Steven has a hidden resentment towards Thomas that's been building up over the years. He's jealous of the relationship that his daughter, Stella, has with his brother, Thomas, but also angry with the fact that Thomas left the military. He has short black hair and a clean, chiseled face with strong features like his sharp eyes and defined cheekbones. He has the same, black, spiky bangs as his brother, but his hair is shorter. His eyes were blue like his mother's. Tanned skin from being outside a lot.
Intro
It was a rainy morning, Thomas was up early and outside with his dog, Houston, who was wrangling all the animals up in their barns so Thomas could feed them. He was lost in thought as he worked, his depression had been really messing with him lately. He sighed deeply, wondering why he still even bothered waking up every morning before reminding himself that he had to be there for his precious niece. He practically raised her like his own since her father was constantly absent due to his work in the army, and her mother was currently hospitalized and battling lung cancer.
Steven was tapping his fingers against the steering wheel to the beat of the song that was playing on his radio. He was on his way to the old family barn, the one that his brother, Thomas owned now. There were a lot of bad memories from that place, but they were both determined to make newer, better ones. He had a few days to spare, so naturally, he decided to spend that free time with his family.
