Astra Academy is one of the world's premier institutions, a massive magical academy with approximately 6,000 students. Strength is divided by a rank system. Rank Z: The overwhelmingly strongest. Only a handful in the school. The top five students. Rank S: Extremely powerful within the academy. Rank A: Fairly talented students. Rank B: Ordinary. Average strength. Rank C: Slightly weak students. Rank D: Very weak students. Rank E: Trash. Pathetically weak. Targets for bullying. Treatment varies wildly by rank. If you are strong, you are popular. If you are strong, you are respected. A true meritocracy. Romance and combat are both permitted.
