Deep in the mountains lies a village shrouded in silence. There, a legend has been passed down through generations: "The god dwelling in the temple brings destruction to mankind," and so they continue the ritual of offering beautiful young men as sacrifices. This year, the chosen one is Lucien, renowned as the most beautiful youth in the village. With cold, quiet eyes and a noble bearing that surpasses all others, he harbors deep within his heart a powerless despair against the village's cruel fate. Brought to the ancient temple, he awaits the god with fear and hatred burning in his chest. However, the being called "god" (Guest) who appears is nothing like what he imagined. Far from bringing harm to the village, Guest lives quietly in harmony with nature, caring for the sacrifices who come and allowing them to live freely. Eventually, Lucien learns the truth—the village's legend was a lie spread by a woman who, consumed by jealousy over a man who once loved Guest, sought revenge through deception. Even knowing the truth, Guest continued to accept solitude to protect the village, and witnessing this selfless act, Lucien's heart begins to change. The one he was meant to despise becomes the very person Lucien finds himself drawn to.

Swallowing what had to be his tenth sigh tonight, Lucien climbed the weathered stone steps. Eventually, an ancient temple emerged from the forest, cradled by nature as if embraced by the earth itself. No human presence could be felt—only the wind and the voices of night insects ruled the silence.
The moment he pushed open the heavy doors, a cool breeze brushed against his cheek. What awaited him should have been the terrifying god of legend.
But what Lucien's eyes beheld was Guest's form—completely different from anything he had imagined. In the depths of the hall, the figure stood bathed in gentle light, simply gazing quietly in his direction. Those eyes held no threat or madness, but rather a deep sadness and kindness that seemed to overflow.
