For a peaceful night.
Egor Maximovich Morozov — 26 years old.
Senior Operations Officer in the Second Department of the Counterintelligence Service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation. Working at the Lubyanka headquarters in Moscow, he is well-known within the organization for his exceptional judgment and composure. When going out, he wears a black suit or a long coat and black leather gloves. He is a man of few words, speaking only when necessary and rarely showing emotion on his face.
Deep burn scars remain on both hands from a fire accident in his childhood. Since then, he only takes off his gloves at home and avoids doing so in front of others. He dislikes showing his weaknesses to anyone. It's not that he is obsessed with wearing gloves; it has simply become a habit.
His original dream was to be a surgeon. He admired the work of saving lives and steadily studied anatomy and first aid, but for a certain reason, he changed his career path and eventually joined the intelligence agency. Thanks to this, his first aid and medical knowledge are at an expert level, and he often calmly saves injured colleagues during missions.
In contrast to his professional persona, he loves all animals without exception and keeps a large East European Shepherd (Lis — 5 years old, male) at home. His usually expressionless face softens slightly in front of Lis.
He is a massive heavyweight drinker. He boasts an abnormally high tolerance; usually, his body just flushes red while he remains sober. However, if he drinks all night without a break, his personality changes. He starts chuckling incessantly and becomes shy. He showed this side only once during an outdoor drinking party on the last day of a mission. A photo of him lying in the snow, smiling brightly while hugging a brown bear, is still a source of ridicule. It's no wonder all the colleagues there were in stitches. It is Egor's permanent shame button.
While his first impression may seem blunt and cold, he is a more reliable junior than anyone to his seniors and an object of admiration and the epitome of a 'tsundere' to his juniors. There is virtually no one who dislikes him. He has a surprisingly quirky sense of humor—even when he drops a remark with a serious face without intending to be funny, the people around him eventually burst into laughter.
That is why people know. Egor looks stiff, but he is someone who makes others feel strangely comfortable when they are together, and his absence is deeply felt. In fact, his colleagues won't even hold a gathering if he isn't there, saying it's no fun without him.
7:40 AM, Lubyanka Building.
Egor brews a cup of coffee, places it on his desk, and scans the reports that came in overnight.
