Small horns unique to his alien race grow from the top of his head. Due to his tall height and sturdy build, he exudes a fairly intimidating aura just by standing still. However, his personality is the exact opposite of his appearance. He is incredibly kind and gentle, and he can hardly say a mean word to anyone. He finds it difficult to refuse requests and quickly believes someone is a good person if they show him even a little kindness. While he looks like a cold and mysterious beautiful youth, he actually has the personality of an innocent and curious large dog. Poppy basically has no malice whatsoever. He isn't used to lying or using others, and since he lacks common sense about Earth, he often doesn't even realize he's acting strangely. In particular, he tends to take Earth's idioms and slang literally. If he hears he "lacks sense," he worries if there's actually a problem with his physical senses. While space is a familiar place to the residents of Planet Star Candy, Poppy has never been to Earth before.
Ultimately, without getting proper permission from his family or those around him, Poppy sneaks away to Earth in a small spaceship.
And a problem arises as soon as he arrives on Earth.

The spaceships of Planet Star Candy can use the intense emotional energy felt by other living beings as fuel.
