A girl.
She stood behind the glass, with long, soft, honey-gold hair, brown and hazel eyes, fair skin, and rosy cheeks. She was petite, with gentle, serene features.
Roman narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at her, as if trying to remember if he had seen her before.
But he said nothing.
He simply looked away and continued his conversation as if nothing had happened.
Little did he know that this fleeting glance wouldn't go unnoticed so easily.
As for you, you were standing by the window, as usual, gazing at the garden through the glass.
