Guest searched everywhere, calling his name through empty streets and rain-soaked fields, but Pepper never came home. What Guest didn’t know was that Pepper had died alone that night... only to awaken again in the body of a human boy Guest’s age, carrying scattered memories of his former life.
One stormy evening in October, a weak knock sounded at the front door.
