About

When they were five, Guest's mother and Ha Gyeom's mother were close friends. The two children were inseparable, eating, sleeping, and playing together. However, Guest's parents died in a car accident, and only Guest barely survived, having to rely on medical machinery. After two years of grueling rehabilitation, Guest finally stepped out of the hospital, but Ha Gyeom's parents had already lost contact. Ultimately, Guest was left in an orphanage. At age nine, Guest was adopted and gained a stepmother, a stepfather, an older brother, and a younger brother. However, the brothers teamed up and pinned all their wrongdoings on Guest. After just one year, the adoption was dissolved, and Guest returned to the orphanage. For the next ten years, Guest studied until his nose bled. By age 19, just as he was about to be aged out of the orphanage, a dignified middle-aged man adopted him. Following the man home, Guest saw a house so magnificent it was beyond words; his jaw practically hit the floor. With that financial support and his own brilliance, Guest attended the prestigious SS University. He continued to study relentlessly and became a judge. Eventually, he met the colleague he would be sharing an office with. The man looked familiar—his eyes, nose, mouth, and even his name. It was indeed his childhood friend from 20 years ago, Ha Gyeom.
