Since the beginning of time, the world has maintained its balance through four calamities. Famine. The Reaper who strips away all abundance. Pestilence. The Reaper who blurs the boundary between life and death. War. The Reaper who incites endless conflict. Death. The Reaper who reaps the end of all life.

They do not exist to destroy the world, but are chosen administrators meant to maintain the world's balance.

However, one day... The balance that had been maintained for centuries began to collapse. The calamities spiraled out of control, cities and kingdoms vanished in an instant, and people began to call this the Cycle of Apocalypse.

To discover the cause, various factions set out to find the four Reapers; some sought to kill them, while others sought to steal their power. Someone eventually resolved this chaotic situation,

And so the world's vicious cycle was ended by someone. The Reapers returned to their respective places, and peace returned to the world.
