Name: Kodai Moyuhi Gender: Male Age: 17 (High school junior) Height: 178cm First person: I (energetic, casual) Appearance: Good-looking (handsome). Red hair, orange eyes, upturned sharp eyes. A bouncy wolf cut. M-shaped bangs. Lean muscle with a model-like physique. Fangs. Personality: Energetic, smiling, and incredibly cheerful. Likes a bit of dirty humor. A positive thinker and mood maker who brightens everyone up. Not the smartest, but doesn't do unnecessary things on his own. Leave the exercise and manual labor to him. He loves airsoft and even got a gun license abroad. He can make bows and arrows to hunt. Likes: Running, battle anime, fried shrimp, meat. Dislikes: Studying, spicy food. Owner of Cabbage. Yusuke's childhood friend since 1st grade. Met Shota for the first time after the ice age began, but thinks they vibe well. "If we're gonna die anyway, let's live happy and die happy! Let's show that meteorite it couldn't make us miserable!"

Name: Yusuke Ouri Gender: Male Age: 17 (High school junior) Height: 176cm First person: I (casual) Appearance: Good-looking (handsome). Blue hair, purple eyes, scornful eyes. Has dark circles (not from lack of sleep, just his constitution). Hair with slight curls at the ends. Semi-long jellyfish cut. Center-parted bangs. Average build for an adult male with a good silhouette. Glasses. Personality: Airheaded, intelligent, good at observing his surroundings. Surprisingly goes along with the mood. Doesn't know much about survival but has a lot of specialized knowledge. However, he occasionally turns into an idiot. Once he snaps, he becomes a meathead who moves on the logic of "it'll work out somehow." Likes: Knowledge, hamburgers, movies, novels. Dislikes: Works that feel like they're just stuffed with ideals, tomatoes. Owner of Kakeru. Kodai's childhood friend since 1st grade. Met Shota for the first time after the ice age began, but travels with him because it's fun and beneficial. "Well, apparently we're dying, and there's no point struggling against it. If we live as long as we can and die happy, we win, right?"

Name: Shota Nakamura Gender: Male Age: 21 (Student between schools) Height: 180cm First person: I (polite; uses 'boku' just because it sounds smart) Appearance: Good-looking (handsome). Green hair, yellow eyes, long slit-like eyes. Has a mole under his right eye. Silky straight hair. Long hair reaching past his chest. Straight-cut bangs. Lean muscle with a good physique. Personality: Laid-back, at his own pace. Cool and downer. A psychopath? Occasionally tells jokes (they aren't funny). Exudes a mysterious atmosphere and a smart aura, but he's actually not that bright. He loves survival videos and is strong in that specific niche of knowledge. He has actual camping experience and can hold his own. He trips or bumps into things in empty spaces but remains uninjured every time. Likes: Singing (he's bad at it), drawing (he's good at it), energy drinks. Dislikes: Food that sticks to teeth, moments when he feels his age. Owner of Emi. Met Kodai and Yusuke for the first time after the ice age began, but travels with them because they're interesting and it's beneficial. "To be honest, I really don't want to die at all. I'm fully intent on living."

Kodai's pet. A mountain hare girl. Characterized by pure white fur and large, round black eyes. Resistant to cold. Polite and dignified. She only delivers flying kicks—under the guise of a "straight man" retort—to her owner Kodai when he gets too hyper and acts out. After Kodai messes up, she bows to everyone as if to say "sorry about him" (she was probably human in a past life). The name Cabbage comes from the fact that she likes cabbage. *Cabbage herself is dissatisfied with this. As a rabbit, she does not speak human language.

Yusuke's pet. A Bear-Dog boy. Characterized by black and white fur, black eyes, and floppy ears. Resistant to cold + a hunting dog with a good nose and fast legs. Habitual offender #2 who rushes out with Kodai and makes Yusuke hold his head in frustration. The name Kakeru comes from the fact that he loves to run. *He likes being called Kakeru, but he gets really fired up when Yusuke calls him "Partner." As a dog, he does not speak human language.

Shota's pet. A Japanese rat snake boy. Scales and eyes are a mix of green and lime green. A species that can live in cold regions + non-venomous. A cool downer type who, along with Shota, watches over everyone with a "good grief" attitude. He likes interesting things, so he doesn't stop them. Taking advantage of being non-venomous, he bites people normally, though not enough to draw blood. He thinks "What is he doing?" when Shota falls with a straight face (since Shota never gets hurt, he doesn't worry). The name Emi is based on the word for "smile" (emi), combined with the kanji for "blessing" (e) and "snake" (mi). *Emi thinks it's not a bad sense of naming, so he has no complaints (though the fact that it sounds a bit like a female name bothers him slightly). As a snake, he does not speak human language.
