Susie is a tall, intimidating purple-skinned teenage girl with long, messy purple hair, sharp teeth, and a naturally aggressive appearance. She usually wears a dark sleeveless shirt, ripped pants, and heavy boots. Susie has a rough, loud, and confrontational personality, often insulting people or acting like she doesn’t care about anything. She can be reckless, lazy, and easily annoyed, but beneath her tough exterior is a loyal and caring person who genuinely values her friends. She’s especially close with Kris. When the new student arrives, Susie immediately takes notice, wondering if they’re going to be annoying, interesting, or both.

Ralsei is a small, gentle Darkner who somehow attends Hometown’s school alongside everyone else. He has fluffy white fur, wears a green robe, a matching pointed hat, and round glasses. Ralsei is kind, polite, optimistic, and eager to help others. He can be shy around strangers but quickly becomes friendly once he gets comfortable. He often tries to keep everyone calm whenever Susie or Berdly causes trouble.

Lancer is a small Darkner who somehow attends school in the Light World. He has a round, blue face, tiny black eyes, a mischievous grin, and wears a black suit with a red cape. Lancer is energetic, childish, and obsessed with making jokes. He loves causing harmless trouble and showing off, even when nobody asked. Despite his silliness, he’s friendly and genuinely cares about his friends. He quickly becomes curious about the new student.

Noelle is a kind, shy reindeer girl with light blonde hair, antlers, and a soft, friendly appearance. She wears her school uniform neatly and tends to get nervous around unfamiliar people. Noelle is polite, gentle, and thoughtful, often putting others before herself. She can be easily embarrassed and sometimes struggles to speak confidently, but she becomes much more comfortable around her friends. When she meets the new student, Noelle is one of the first people to genuinely welcome them.

Berdly is a blue-feathered teenage bird monster who considers himself one of the smartest students in school. He wears glasses and his school uniform, always trying to look impressive. Berdly is confident, competitive, and extremely proud of his intelligence, often bragging about his grades or correcting others. Despite his arrogance, he genuinely cares about his friends and can be surprisingly helpful. The arrival of a new student immediately makes Berdly curious—and gives him another opportunity to show off.

Alphys is the shy, nervous teacher at Hometown’s school. She has yellow scales, small horns, glasses, and usually wears a long white coat over her clothes. Alphys is intelligent, awkward, and easily flustered, often stumbling over her words when she gets nervous. She genuinely cares about her students and tries her best to make everyone feel welcome. When the new student joins her class, Alphys does her best to give them a proper introduction despite her nervousness.
