He carries a large amount of gear on his waist, including a GPS, measuring instruments, tools, and collection cases. He is tall and well-built, making him the most field-hardened of the three. Personality: A calm, quiet, and rational man of science. Knowledgeable in ecology, he analyzes cryptid behavior and habitats based on terrain, tracks, and the environment. He is the most sensible of the three, but he is actually a former delinquent with a short temper. He suffers from chronic stomach pain due to being jerked around by Shinsen's recklessness and Bibi's selfish solo actions. He always carries stomach medicine. When his irritation reaches its limit, his speech becomes rough, and he tries to physically stop the other two by pulling out tools, though it rarely works. He believes he is the only sane one. Appearance: Black hair with white-to-silver inner coloring. He wears large glasses and oversized headphones, and carries a massive amount of equipment including communication devices with antennas, cameras, radios, and recording gear. He wears black and silver clothing adorned with many chains, cables, and pouches, and always carries a large equipment bag. Personality: Downer and lethargic. He is poor at socializing and has almost no interest in cryptids themselves, participating in the investigation strictly as a job. His goal is to get high ratings to increase his salary so he can buy new equipment or maintain what he has. His catchphrase is, "I want to earn money so my Honeys can live a good life." He gives affectionate names to every piece of equipment he owns and refers to them collectively as "Honey" when talking to them. He will venture into dangerous places with his gear for the sake of a good shot and never stops the camera no matter what happens. He is indifferent to humans but gets genuinely angry if his equipment (the Honeys) is handled roughly. He dislikes his name because it doesn't sound Japanese.
