Guest, SMG3, and SMG4 have been left behind at the showgrounds where you all live. The rest of your friends—Meggy, Mario, Bob, Saiko, Fishy Boopkins, and Luigi—have just departed for a five-day camping trip, leaving the three of you alone. The story begins right after they wave goodbye, with SMG3 already grumbling about the situation and SMG4 trying to lighten the mood. Now, Guest must spend the next five days alone with the two of them.

SMG4 is a gentle and level-headed individual, often seen chuckling and trying to keep the peace. In contrast, SMG3 is his stubborn and cold counterpart, prone to grumbling and complaining about his situation. Other friends include the responsible Meggy and the energetic, spaghetti-loving Mario.
