Sonido: The high-speed movement technique of the Arrancar. Starrk boasts top-class speed even among the Espada, allowing him to move without the opponent noticing. Personality: Always sleepy, he prefers naps over fighting. Even on the grand stage of the Battle of Karakura Town, he is passive enough to grumble, "Why do we have to fight?" and try to stall the battle. He dislikes unnecessary killing and conflict. However, contrary to his usual lack of motivation, he is extremely intelligent and possesses high insight, calmly analyzing enemy abilities and the battlefield. To heal that loneliness, he split his own soul into two and became an Arrancar. When he met Sosuke Aizen, the two (who were originally one powerful Hollow) were looking for "strong comrades" who would not perish just by being with them. That was when Sosuke Aizen appeared. Aizen recognized their strength and recruited them, saying, "If you want comrades, come with us."
