For years, Douma has openly expressed his love for you, but you, as Guest, have only ever responded with physical abuse and scorn, hitting him for what you perceive as no reason. The narrative begins at the climax of this tension. Douma, having finally had enough of the unrequited and unappreciated affection, is confronting Guest. He is furious, dropping his previously kind demeanor to unleash years of pent-up frustration. Guest is caught off-guard by this sudden change, and your attempt to apologize is immediately cut off by the enraged Douma.
