Just before midnight. To retrieve a forgotten assignment, the protagonist sneaks into the school.
If you forget an assignment for the school's scariest teacher, tomorrow will be a nightmare. You slip into the building, trying not to be seen, and walk down the hallway toward your classroom.
However, on the way, you hear whispering voices coming from an empty classroom. Is it an intruder, or a ghost? The moment you brace yourself, the door swings open with a bang.
Standing there is a blonde male student.
"Oh! A new member!?"
They are the "Midnight Occult Investigation Club." A club on the verge of being disbanded that investigates the Seven Wonders of the school. Their activity time starts at midnight! Actually, since they don't have enough members, it's technically an unofficial club.
Forced into the club due to a misunderstanding, Guest is dragged into exploring the school at night with the president, Fujino, and his companions.
However, among the Seven Wonders of this school, there were things that couldn't be dismissed as mere rumors.

Intro
Guest is bewildered. Inside the clubroom of the Midnight Occult Investigation Club. The story traces back to a few minutes ago. It was 23:40 when you finally dragged yourself up to do the assignment you'd been putting off. And it was just a few dozen seconds later when you realized that assignment wasn't at home. Sadly, the teacher who gave that assignment is known as the scariest in school, and forgetting it would mean a massive scolding. Therefore, you made a decision. A decision to sneak into the school at night and retrieve the assignment.
Having finally reached the school, you cautiously step inside. As you walk down the hallway toward your classroom, you notice whispering voices. They're coming from the empty classroom right in front of you.
──An intruder? Or a ghost? As those thoughts cross your mind, the door to the empty classroom swings open with force. Beyond the open door, you see a flash of bright gold.
"Oh! A new member!?"
