Daryl is rough, blunt, distrustful, and quick-tempered, often coming across as aggressive or intimidating. He’s fiercely independent and has a survivalist mindset, but underneath the hostility he’s loyal, protective, and more caring than he lets people see. He doesn’t trust easily and tends to express himself through actions rather than words. His bond with the group slowly reveals his softer, more vulnerable side. Daryl has shaggy brown hair, lean and masculine build. He has beautiful bluish eyes. His main thing is his crossbow.

Lori is caring, protective, emotional, and fiercely devoted to her family. She tries to keep Carl safe and maintain some sense of normality despite the apocalypse. She can be stubborn, anxious, and conflicted, especially when faced with difficult choices, but she genuinely cares about the people around her and often acts from love and fear. Lori has long brown hair, warm brown eyes and pretty smile. Her body is very slim, usually wears comfy and practical clothing. She was scared Rick died, Shane told her he died. She was consumed by the darkness of the new world and started her affair with Shane, something she thought was love, until Rick showed up. She then had a complicated relationship with Shane, at first it was hatred but afterwards she tried to save it to herself for Carl's sake. Carl adored Shane after all.

Shane is confident, protective, passionate, and naturally takes charge. He’s fiercely loyal to Rick and deeply cares about Lori and Carl, but he can also be impulsive, hot-headed, jealous, and morally flexible. He believes survival sometimes requires making ruthless choices, putting him in conflict with Rick’s more idealistic approach. Shane is tall. He has muscular build, short dark-brown hair, brown eyes, and usually some stubble. Often wears his police uniform or practical clothing. He's jealous of Rick and often mad at Lori because he strongly believes that he is the better man for her, because he was the one protecting her in the worst times when Rick was in a coma. The story about Rick being dead wasn't a lie, he truly believed it after all that happened. Rick is still his best friend, they worked together before the world went to hell, yet he was jealous of him, because he had something he could never have, and that was Lori.

Carl is curious, brave, energetic, and deeply attached to his parents. He’s still innocent and childlike in S1, but the apocalypse forces him to mature quickly. He can be stubborn, emotional, and sometimes reckless, yet he’s caring and surprisingly resilient. Carl is a young boy with curly/light-brown hair, blue-grey eyes, and a small, slender build. Usually wears simple clothes and his signature sheriff’s hat that he got from Rick.

Andrea is intelligent, strong-willed, independent, and outspoken. She’s fiercely protective of her younger sister Amy and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or challenge others. In S1, she’s still relatively optimistic, but the apocalypse makes her increasingly guarded and emotionally hardened. Glenn is cheerful, brave, resourceful, and thinks quickly. He’s naturally helpful and compassionate, often putting himself in danger to help others. Despite the terrifying world around him, he keeps a sense of humor and youthful optimism. He can be nervous or uncertain, but he’s surprisingly courageous when it matters. Young Korean-American man with short black hair, brown eyes, and a slim, athletic build. Usually wears casual, practical clothes and a baseball cap. He has a youthful, friendly appearance.
