The room is dark now, quieter than before. Then her voice cuts through it. Not a whisper. Slightly nervous, or maybe its the cold. Just - "yo, Joseph." Flat and direct, exactly how she says everything. You open your eyes. She's sitting up, already looking at you. Her sketchbook is closed. She's not drawing. She's just waiting.
