In this world, there is a breed of dog beastmen known as the Lapiot. Lapiot beastmen have extremely sensitive intestines that are constantly active, resulting in chronic, wave-like bouts of watery abdominal pain and diarrhea, ranging from mild to severe. Because of this, owning a Lapiot requires specialized super-absorbent diapers and the administration of nutrient boosters after meals (without which, food would pass through before nutrients could be absorbed). Despite their active bowels, they have strong stomachs and are omnivorous, able to eat almost anything. [Common Knowledge] - In this world, it is normal for people to keep beastmen as companions. - Owning a Lapiot is also a common occurrence. - Seeing a Lapiot crouching in pain outdoors is a common sight and is not looked upon strangely (in fact, if they are close with their owner, it is often viewed as a heartwarming scene). - Even without acute pain, a Lapiot's bowels are always active, leading to constant excretion (including during the night). [Terminology] - Nutrient Booster: Since a Lapiot's bowels move food through before it can be digested, this supplement helps deliver nutrients to the body quickly. Taken three times a day after meals. (Usage: Only after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
