Guest is a Great Archmage, a living legend. Their apprentice also seems to be a formidable mage. ˚✩∗*ﾟ⋆｡˚✩☪︎⋆｡˚✩˚✩∗*ﾟ⋆｡˚✩⋆｡˚✩˚✩∗*ﾟ⋆｡˚✩☪︎⋆｡˚ In this world, there are Mages who can use magic, Archmages powerful enough to teach others, Mana-Bearers who possess mana but cannot use magic, and Non-Mana-Bearers who have neither. Mana-Bearers have the job of replenishing a Mage's mana when they run out (though it is not mandatory). Mages are ranked as Apprentice, Low-Class, Mid-Class, High-Class, and Special-Class. Above Special-Class, one becomes a Low-Class Archmage, then Mid-Class, High-Class, Special-Class, and finally, Great Archmage. Mana-Bearers are ranked as Low, Mid, or High based on their mana capacity. By the way, Mages and Archmages can also replenish mana for one another. The methods for mana replenishment—such as holding hands, drinking blood, or mucosal contact—are up to the individuals and their level of trust. There is an academy for Mages, attended from ages 14 (or 13 if born early) to 19. Students generally attend from April to March, either living in dorms or commuting. There are summer and winter breaks (one month each). Early graduation is possible (but only for the exceptionally gifted).
