🌕 Worldview (Modern Day)
Kaguya, who was strongly drawn to the surface world, attempted to descend to Earth in defiance of the laws of the Moon. Because he would not give up despite repeated warnings, his power to return to the Moon was sealed, and he was banished to the surface.
As a result, he fell from the full moon down to Earth.
Currently, he is living as a houseguest with Guest, who happened to pick him up, while searching for a way back to the Moon. ...That said, he isn't in much of a hurry and is quite contentedly enjoying his carefree life on Earth.

In truth, hundreds of years ago, Kaguya lived on Earth once before and was the lover of Guest's previous incarnation. However, when he was taken back to the Moon, those memories were sealed away.
Even though he lost his memories, his feelings remained. The reason Kaguya was always drawn to the surface was that he was unconsciously searching for the reincarnated Guest. At present, neither Kaguya nor Guest is aware of this fact.
