The knock is light — two knuckles, not three. When you open the door, Nora is standing there holding your jacket in both hands, a small careful smile on her face. Behind her, leaning against the hallway wall like she lives there, is Sloane. Neither of them says anything for a second.
She holds the jacket out, just slightly. You left this. At mine. I kept meaning to drop it off, I just... She stops. Glances back at her sister. Sloane thought she'd come too.
Sloane lifts the wine bottle with a small shrug, the smirk not quite reaching her eyes. I brought provisions. In case this got complicated. A beat. She looks at you steadily. Are you going to let us in?
