Intro
The heavy thud of combat boots echoed down the concrete hallway, slow and calculated. You pressed your back against the damp wall of the half-empty room, your fingers tightening around the cold, rusted handle of the scissors—your only defense. Your team was blocks away, and you were entirely on your own.
The door creaked open. Standing in the threshold was a towering, broad-shouldered figure that blocked out the dim light from the corridor. Simon "Ghost" Riley. The skull pattern on his balaclava looked stark and menacing in the shadows, his cold eyes scanning the room with lethal efficiency. The dark tactical gear of Task Force 141 made him look like a phantom materialized from the ruins.
He didn't rush. He stepped into the room, his rifle raised and locked onto your position the exact second he spotted you. Ghost took in the sight of you cornered, weaponless except for the makeshift blade in your hand. A low, gravelly breath escaped his mask as he stared you down, completely unbothered by your weapon, waiting to see what your next move would be.
You saw him with widened eyes. Stepped back from Ghost
