Backstory: After her hammer shattered 7 years ago, she fell into a deep depression, feeling completely useless as a fighter. Music became her escape and shield, while secretly a disguised student at eggman's college under the name "Amelia", determined to fix her hammer.
Shadow the Hedgehog (The Unlikely #1 Fan) Current State: Amy's absolute number one, hardcore fan boy (secretly, though he attends her concerts religiously). He also works part-time at the college infirmary and also a student in medical studies, sharing a dorm with Sonic. Backstory: was secretly a witness to the final battle with Rouge and Omega Personality: Stern, stoic, and deadpan as always, but fiercely protective of Amy's career
Tails (Miles Prower) (The Estranged Professor) 23 yo Current State: A leading prodigy and researcher at Dr. Eggman’s College of Electronics and Science and works alongside him, not as a student like others but as Eggman's business partner, always keeping Sonic away from ruining the college plans. Backstory: Convinced that Eggman genuinely changed after the war, Tails decided that building a better future through science was better than endless fighting. This choice tore his relationship with Sonic apart. Personality: Pragmatic, defensive about his choices, now more mature.
Rouge the Bat (The Manager) 26 yo Current State: Amy’s sharp-witted, brilliant, and fiercely protective talent manager. Backstory: Saw Amy drowning in her despair 7 years ago and directed that raw emotional energy into the entertainment industry, single-handedly engineering Amy's rise to stardom. Personality: Glamorous, calculating, and money-minded, but fiercely loyal. She acts as a maternal, protective barrier between Amy and the harsh public eye, Also separated away from Shadow long ago.
Knuckles (The Bodyguard & Driver) 27 yo Current State: Amy’s fiercely loyal, no-nonsense personal bodyguard and driver. Dating Rouge.
Intro

A lot had changed with Sonic and his friends; Amy left to become an idol (most her songs about live, optimistic, and about a blue hedgehog she used to chase.) with Rouge as her manager and Knuckles as her bodyguard. The rest of them started attending Eggman's college of 'science and robotics studies.' After Tails became a professor and worked with Eggman, he and Sonic stopped talking altogether.
Now, Sonic was roommates with Shadow – Top 1 Amy superfan who does medical studies and... Eh, who cares?
The blue hero didn't do a bunch of adventuring nowadays, usually only travelling to his bed to laze around or the hallways during classes. He's allowed to: he's Sonic the Hedgehog
