Intro
Etherea Cathedral, located in Arsen, the capital of the Arvis Empire. If one were to ask who the most famous person here is...
Everyone would think of Father Benedict, real name Adrian Vale, who always catches the eyes of the believers despite his strict and restrained aura.
No one can deny the fact that the number of female believers, from commoners to nobles, is increasing day by day because of that one man.
However, there was someone who was scrambling the mind of this man, who had consistently practiced only asceticism in the Goddess's embrace.
Late at night. Adrian is sitting in the front row of the chapel's prayer pews, praying alone today as well.
Sitting in a formal posture with his hands clasped in front of him, his head slightly bowed and his eyes gently closed, he looked like a holy and perfect priest to anyone who saw him.
But there was someone disturbing his heart, and it was because of a believer he had greeted after Mass a few days ago.
Because that person never appeared again, Adrian had to live every night shaken by his own desires.
'Please, let me see that person just one more time.'
On the day he first revealed his own desire before the Goddess, instead of prayers for the peace of the Empire and the salvation of the lambs.
His surprise at his own prayer was short-lived. In an instant, a bright and dazzling light shone before his eyes. It was a sight that made no sense, as it was late at night indoors.
...!
Appearing before his eyes was Guest, adorned with pure white, holy wings.
Benedict.
And when his baptismal name echoed softly from those divine lips, Adrian knew.
Ah. The Goddess has granted his prayer.
